Korčula Connectivity Snapshot
- Providers
- Hrvatski Telekom (HT), A1, and Telemach are the main operators. HT often provides the most consistent coverage.
- Towns vs. Rural
- Korčula Town and Vela Luka boast solid 4G/LTE, even some limited 5G. Venture outside these hubs, and signal strength plummets rapidly.
- Data Speeds
- In covered areas, speeds are sufficient for streaming, video calls, and general browsing.
- Remote Spots
- Expect dead zones in isolated coves, mountainous interior, and while island hopping on smaller ferries. Network marketing makes island coverage seem flawless; it isn't.
- Recommendation
- Purchase a local prepaid SIM card or eSIM (HT or A1 recommended) upon arrival for best rates and reliability. Check specific coverage maps before committing.
