Trogir Ferry & Island Access: The Reality

Here’s what you need to know about Trogir’s island connections:
- Drvenik Veli & Drvenik Mali
- Jadrolinija operates car ferries from Seget Donji (just west of Trogir). Passenger-only boats also depart from Trogir waterfront. Check schedules; they're less frequent off-season.
- Čiovo Access
- Trogir connects to Čiovo by two bridges. No ferry is needed from Trogir town to Čiovo. Access is direct and constant.
- Split is Crucial
- For major island destinations like Hvar, Brač, or Vis, you must go to Split ferry port. Bura Line offers fast catamaran links from Trogir (via Slatine, Čiovo) to Split.
- Šolta Connection
- Direct ferry links from Trogir to Šolta are limited. The most reliable connections to Šolta (Rogač) are via Split by Jadrolinija car ferry, or private boat transfers from Trogir.
- Seasonality
- Ferry schedules drastically reduce outside peak summer (June-August). Always check current timetables directly with operators like Jadrolinija or local boat companies.
